Folders and document folders in the sidebar of your Forms and Documncan now be dragged and dropped into any position. Previously, folders appeared in the order they were created and could not be rearranged. You can now organise them in a way that reflects your priorities, workflows, or team structure.
How to Reorder Folders
In the sidebar, hover over the folder you want to move.
Click and hold the folder to grab it.
Drag it to the position you want.
Release to drop it in place.
💡 IndyTip: The same drag and drop behaviour applies to document folders. Reorder them the same way directly in the sidebar.
How to Merge Folders
In the sidebar, click and hold the folder you want to merge.
Drag it on top of the destination folder — the target folder will highlight to indicate it is ready to receive the merge.
Release to drop it onto the destination folder.
A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to merge the two folders. Select Merge to confirm.
The contents of both folders will be combined into the destination folder. The original folder will be removed once the merge is complete.
💡 IndyTip: Before merging, check that both folders contain related content — merging cannot be undone, so it is worth reviewing the contents of each folder first.

Q. Does reordering folders affect anyone else on my team?
A. Yes. Folder order is shared across the organisation — reordering folders will update the sidebar for all users, not just your own view.
Q. Does the order reset after I log out?
A. No. The order you set is saved and will remain the next time you log in.
Q. Can I reorder folders inside other folders?
A. Yes. Folders nested inside other folders can also be dragged and dropped to reorder. Simply click and hold the folder and drag it to your preferred position within that folder structure.

Put your most-used folders at the top of the sidebar so they are the first thing you see when you log in.
Group related folders together — for example, place all client folders or all compliance folders side by side to reduce scrolling and searching.
Reorder document folders separately to match the same structure as your form folders, keeping navigation consistent across both areas.
