💡IndyTips

  • Use a clear label — Keep your label simple and direct, such as "Mobile Number" or "Best Contact Number", so respondents know exactly what to enter.

  • Enable Input Required for critical forms — If a phone number is essential for follow-up (e.g. booking forms, emergency contacts, or service requests), always mark the field as required to avoid incomplete submissions.

  • Use Display in List for quick access — Enabling this option means you can see phone numbers at a glance from your records view without having to open each submission individually.

  • Combine with Show User Last Edited — For forms shared across a team, this option helps you track who updated a contact number and when, keeping your records accurate and accountable.

  • Use Filterable for large response sets — If you're collecting a high volume of submissions, enabling Filterable makes it easy to search and sort by phone number across your records.

  • Pair with conditional logic — Show the Phone Input field only when relevant, for example, display it after a respondent selects "Yes" to being contactable by phone.
