Need help accessing your IndyForms account? Follow these steps to log in or reset your password.

Quick overview

This article covers: standard email/password login, Microsoft SSO login, password reset steps, 2FA, and common troubleshooting.

Logging in

Before you begin, make sure you have your login URL. Visit app.indyforms.com or use the link provided by your organisation.

Option A: Email and Password

  1. Go to the IndyForms login page at

  2. Go to the IndyForms login page: app.indyforms.com.

  3. Enter the email address linked to your IndyForms account.

  4. Not sure which email you used? Contact your organisation admin or email [email protected].

  5. Enter your password and click Log in.

  6. If your organisation has Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled, you will be prompted to enter a verification code after your password. See the 2FA section below for details.

Option B: Single Sign-On (SSO)

IndyForms supports logging in with your existing Microsoft, Google, or Apple account — no separate IndyForms password needed.

  1. On the login page, click the SSO button for your provider:

Provider

Button label

Best for

Microsoft

Work or school Microsoft accounts

Google

Gmail or Google Workspace accounts

Apple

Personal Apple ID accounts

2. Sign in to your chosen account when prompted.

3.You will be redirected back to IndyForms and logged in automatically.

Apple “Hide My Email”

If this is your first time signing in with Apple, you may be asked whether to share or hide your email. If you choose Hide My Email, IndyForms will receive a private relay address. Remember which option you chose — it affects which email is associated with your account.

IndyTip

SSO is the fastest and most secure login option — it means one less password to manage. Check with your organisation admin if you’re unsure which provider to use.

Resetting your password

Forgot your password? No problem — you can reset it in a few minutes.

Before you start

Whitelist IndyForms emails to make sure the reset email reaches your inbox. Add [email protected] to your safe sender list before requesting a reset.

  1. On the login page, click Forgot your password?

  2. Enter your email address and click Send me a reset link.

  3. Check your inbox for the reset email. Also check your Spam, Junk, or Other folders if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

  4. Click the reset link in the email. Note: reset links expire after 1 hour and can only be used once. If yours has expired, simply request a new one.

  5. Enter a new password. Requirements:

    • At least 8 characters

    • Both password fields must match

    • For a stronger password, combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols

  6. Click Save (or Reset password), then return to the login page.

  7. Log in with your new password.

You’re in! You should now be logged in and ready to go.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

If your organisation has 2FA enabled, you will be asked for a verification code each time you log in after entering your password.

  • Authenticator app: Open your authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator) and enter the 6-digit code shown.

  • Email code: Check your inbox for a verification email from IndyForms and enter the code provided.

For full setup instructions, see the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) article.

Troubleshooting

I didn’t receive the password reset email

  • Check your Spam, Junk, or Other folders.

  • Make sure [email protected] is on your safe sender list.

  • Wait a few minutes and try again, as email delivery can occasionally be delayed.

  • Still nothing? Email [email protected] for support.

The reset link says it has expired

Reset links are valid for 1 hour and can only be used once. If you requested multiple resets, only the most recent link will work. Go back to the login page and click Forgot your password? to request a fresh link.

I still can’t log in after resetting my password

  • Double-check there are no extra spaces in your email or password.

  • Make sure Caps Lock is not on.

  • Try copying and pasting the new password if you’re unsure of the exact characters. If you still can’t log in, email [email protected].

I can’t remember which email I used

Reach out to [email protected] and the IndyForms team can check which email address is registered to your account.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q. Can I change my password anytime?

A. Yes. Once logged in, go to your Profile Settings to update your password at any time.

Q. What if I log in with Microsoft, Google, or Apple SSO — can I still reset my IndyForms password?

A. If you log in exclusively via SSO (Microsoft, Google, or Apple), you won’t have a separate IndyForms password to reset. Manage your credentials through the relevant provider. If you’re unsure how your account is set up, contact your organisation admin or email [email protected].

Q. What are the password requirements?

A. Your password must be at least 8 characters long and both fields must match when setting it. We recommend using a mix of uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols for a stronger password.

💡 IndyTips

  • Use a password manager: Tools like 1Password, LastPass, or Bitwarden can store and autofill your credentials securely.

  • Whitelist IndyForms emails: Add [email protected] to your safe sender list so reset emails never get lost.

  • Use SSO if available: Microsoft, Google, and Apple SSO are faster, more secure, and mean one less password to manage.

  • Keep your email consistent: Always use the same email address registered with your organisation to avoid login confusion.
